South Bay Community College Dance Collective

Mission:
SBCCDC is a chance for the six community colleges in the South Bay Area of California to foster a further sense of community, shared dance experience and promotion to the education of dance by bringing together DeAnza/Foothill, West Valley/Mission, and San Jose City/Evergreen colleges in a concert to kick off the start of the school year each fall.

Vision:
To expand the awareness of dance as an art form in the Community College setting.

What it is:
This shared concert will showcase the top faculty and student works from either past years, or recently created, with experienced dancers and choreographers. The objective will be to encourage dance students (and the rest of the community college body) to attend the concert to help promote the dance departments and get a general excitement of dance within the community college population.
